All residents of the neighborhoods of Southeast Heights, Parkland Hills, and Maxwell Place are invited to a Parkland Village gathering in the morning of Saturday, October 28 at Ridgecrest Park.
We are currently seeking volunteers to join us at the park (between Morningside and Sierra) for our neighborhood ‘information sharing’ blast. We will be hanging door tags on every home in our Parkland Village service area and will fan out in two-person teams. (You don't have to arrive with a partner. We will assign one to you if you don't.) Will you consider joining us? We’ll have coffee and pastries from 9:30 to noon. Come get breakfast, then hang some door tags. Each team will be given a small area (map included) and will head out into the neighborhood to do some rapid-fire door hanging. All a person does is hang the tag on the front door. No doorbell ringing or personal contact is involved. Check off all homes tagged and return the maps to the park, and you are done! It should take no more than 1 ½ hours. There will be prizes when you return the maps!
RSVP if you can hang door tags (but don't hesitate to show up if you haven't RSVP'd). It will be helpful for us to know how many people to expect. There is no need to RSVP if you simply want to attend the gathering.
